Wanna Get Naked?
Hey there Beauty B's!
It's time to get NAKED! No, no, I am talking about Urban Decay Naked 3. Now some of you may be new to this pallet while others have known it forever. I have a dirty little secret to tell you, this is the time of the year that the pallet flies off the shelves. As many of you know here in the USA on the East Coast we are suppose to be entering spring. The time of the year for budding romance, and people doing what I can't wait to do and that's getting married. All those lovely brides or grooms too want a day that is bright, sunny, and romantic as they tie the not. However, they want to look good too and that's where this pallet comes into play. Don't worry I have a backup for those that are not ready to splurge on this pallet yet or need just a simple replacement for maybe a color they are running low on in the Naked 3 already. Here's the deal about the pallet. It's a rose hue pallet which makes it this soft, yet beautiful pallet. I literally call it the go to for soft bridal makeup. This pallet is great for brides that want a soft look, or who want to spice it up at night for the reception. Now the real scoop is that Urban Decay is well known for their eye shadows and the how right the pigment is, however they also have a huge price tag. Now I love my Naked 3 pallet and it's worth the investment but what about for my everyday Beauty B's! Well, I have the perfect answer for you. The Urban Decay Naked 3 pallet has 12 shades of Rose Hue shadows that range from matte, to shimmer. On top of that the product is cruelty free and comes in a nice sturdy pallet with mirror. The only thing is, well.....the pallet cost $54 and not everyone wants to splurge. So for those of you that don't I have your answer. The Covergirl Tru Naked Shadows are less than $9 at most drug stores. Sure you only get 8 colors but the pigment and colors are almost an exact match. I literally died when I thought about it and put it to the test. On top of that there was a special coupon I found online in which I got money off for my Covergirl products which was amazing. So if you are a makeup artist that is going to have a busy bridal season, a bride that needs some eye makeup, or someone that wants the Urban Decay look without the price give this a shot! Remember sometimes is okay to splurge!
*Tip for both: Use setting spray the wet the shadows to make the pigment richer. This works for Urban Decay and the Covergirl. I reached out to Urban Decay and they verified this for me.*
