If you have been following my blog you know that I love skin care just as much as I love cosmetics. I swear if anything has been super drilled into me it's that a good skin care regimen really does make a difference in your makeup. So I love Perter Thomas Roth at Sephora, and these are definitely splurge products. I love the masks by this brand but wanted to find a dupe to introduce to people who are shy about spending that kind of money, or that would like to try before they go crazy and splurge. Well I recently was exploring the skincare section at a place I would never expect to find the perfect dupe. You guessed it...Walmart! Right there in the skincare aisle I found this hot product below that won't break the bank. Check it out it's the perfect dupe to start you out on the art of masking.
Spascriptions Gel Face Mask Set:
1.) First off I have to be honest the price is what sold me on this. You get three small size masks and a brush to apply your masks for less than $8. (Prices may vary.)
2.) The three masks you get are Rose, Gold, and Cucumber and they are all gel masks. A little bit goes a long ways. The one's by Peter Thomas Roth are bigger and cost around $50- $80 at Sephora.
3.) The mask application brush works even well with clay masks. I got the best application I have had in a long while of a mask with the brush. I am talking amazing!
4.) The ingredients are very closely comparable to the Peter Thomas Roth. There are some differences clearly but they have a lot of similar ingredients.
5.) The benefits of the masks I have broken down below for you:
-Gold- this is anti-inflammatory and full of great anti-aging properties. It can help with hydration and also improve over time the elasticity or snap back of your skin. Gold can also help calm acne and redness of the skin. It can also help protect you against free radicals, which are things that can cause damage from the sun to your skin and wrinkles. This should also brighten your skin and give you a glow. This will also help soften the skin and make it smooth. So get golden like a Grammy!
-Rose- Has anti-inflammatory properties in it. Also will provide hydration for the skin. Rose is great and gentle for issues like acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis. Rose is great for cleaning the skin and helping remove extra dirt and oil that are left in the skin from cleansing. Rose also has antiseptic properties. Great for fine lines also.
-Cucumber- This one is great for really cleansing the skin. This is also very soothing for the skin as it help relieve puffiness. Will keep your skin smooth and silky. Will help provide hydration for the skin also. Cucumber is also filled with excellent vitamins that are great for keeping the skin beautiful. So be cool as a cucumber and mask yourself.
