Nivea Had A Friend Like Me!

Hey Beauty B's!

So I literally have always loved Disney so I was inspired tonight for this title. Tonight I was digging through my products to blog beauty arsenal and had a major brain blast. Many on the east coast are experiencing or about to experience a Nor'easter. Well with that cold blast you may be walking around and you need to give your lips some love. It's great to use a lip balm but it's better to use one with SPF while you are outside. We have to protect our lips from the sun. Below I feature two lip balms by Nivea. I decided to feature one with SPF and one without for anyone that may be sensitive to SPF. Check it out below!

Nivea Smoothness Lip Balm with SPF 15:

1.) Why SPF for the lips? SPF in a lip balm is very important as it protects your lips from sunburn. Also it's a preventive measure to keep those lips young and soft.

2.) Dermatologist tested! This statement always seems to make me feel a little better about a product, but I never feel sold until I actually test it out myself.

3.) Price is less than $4 which is great. Trust me I lose lip balms like there is no tomorrow so I don't want to really break the bank buying them constantly.

4.) This is a unisex lip balm.

5.) My last selling point is that this product has three ingredients that I love:

-Glycerin- this will seal in the moisture to your lips and keep them hydrated all day long.

-Aloe- this will help with dry cracked lips. It's very soothing and can help heal the cracks.

-Shea butter- has Vitamins A and E in it which are great for helping soothe your chapped lips. It also will give you moisture which you want!

6.) Product can be purchased for less than $4 as it does have SPF so it's a little more pricey but important. Can be found at Amazon, Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreen, and Target.

Nivea Moisture Lip Care Balm: (This does not have SPF in it)

1.) First this one does not have SPF, so I recommend using this for indoors. However if you have a sensitivity to SPF this one may be the perfect one for you to add to you lip routine.

2.) Just like the other lip balm this one is also Dermatologist tested.

3.) This one is also Unisex.

4.) Lastly for this one I was sold on three excellent ingredients that this on has:

-Shea butter-has Vitamins A and E in it which are great for helping soothe your chapped lips. It also will give you moisture which you want!

-Glycerin- Locks in the moisture to your lips. Keeping you hydrated and plump all day long.

-Jojoba Oil-  Great for protecting against the cold and wind. Kinda comparable to Glycerin which also will seal in the moisture to your lips. This also keeps your lips nice and soft.

5.) The price of this one ranges from $2-$4. Can be found at Amazon, Wal-Mart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, and some grocery stores in the pharmacy section.

Personal Disclaimer: Be careful where you store this product as both have melted in my pocket before. I guess I put off a lot of heat.

Also for all you macho macho men, the balms are unisex. Also it's important to take care of your lips as your partner doesn't want to kiss something dry and crusty. Just a tip from me to you!

Gotta go plan for the week! Guess we didn't turn back time......We Sprung forward!
