It's Okay To Bee(z) Nuts!
Hey Beauty B's!
Boy have my lips been chapped lately and my goodness it's not because my thirst is real. Trust me I drink more water than that falls down Niagara. So I finally dug through my drawer of chapsticks and this one caught my eyes the last few days. I highlighted it a while ago on my instagram (@the_beauty_guru_2u) but decided it needed a little more than a once over. Guys I am telling you to Bee(z) Nuts like me. Not only have I been impressed with how tasty the lip balms are but at the quality of ingredients. Big bonus and I hate to do this actually I lie I love to do this because I love cosmetics from all over but want more to come from the USA, this balm is made in the USA. Not only is it a PARTY IN THE USA, but it's a PARTY IN RVA (Richmond, VA)! Check out below the one flavor I picked and below that are pictures of the others. Read some of my highlights and Beauty B's do me a favor, educate yourself on the ingredients and what they do. Forgive me for this but if for are from RVA which yes I call myself a New Yorker after living there for a few years and finally finding myself but Richmond is originally where I am from........so support RVA and check out the site! 1.) I first off love the selection of flavors. Everyone loves a tasty treat right? I feature Mango Lassi in this review!
2.) When you look at the ingredients they are more natural based which is amazing especially for the lips: Beeswax, coconut oil, Shea butter, sweet almond oil, macadamia nut oil, walnut oil, argan nut oil, aloe extract, vitamin e, stevia leaf extract
-Beeswax- Great because it's anti-inflammatory and antibacterial! Meaning it helps heal those dry cracked lips!
-Coconut oil- provides a barrier of moisture and will also help those cracks in your lips. As mentioned before in my blog a while back coconut has anti-bacterial properties also. Often times can put a little shine back into your lips naturally without a gloss.
-Shea butter- helps protects lips from the dry cold weather.....brrrr
-Sweet Almond Oil- helps bring alive those dead skin cells on your lips.....talk about waking the dead!
-Macadamia nut oil- Has rapid healing properties in it. Meaning great for those cracks you sometimes get at the corner of your lips when they are really dry and painful.
-Walnut oil- keep those lips looking young.......Anti-oxidant infused!
-Argan oil- helps condition your dry lips. ( Also there is a rumor and don't hold me to this yet that it can help lighten your lips)
-Aloe- will help soothe and smooth those dry crusty lips.
-Vitamin E- will help keep your lips young and smooth!
-Stevia leaf extract- natural sweetener.....it sweetens the deal!
3.) PARABEN FREE AND NO PETROLEUM!
4.) Made local for those in Richmond,VA.....or for those not hey it's a USA made product!
