You Can Have Your Dream Glow!
Hey there Beauty B's!
Many of you out there are dying for that dream glow. Whether it's a mermaid glam glow, a unicorn showstopping glow, or my new fave futuristic lunarious glow, I found a way for you to achieve your dream. So let's talk about what was launched a month ago by Anastasia Beverly Hills. They launched the Dream Glow pallet and yes it's beautiful and really can give you the glow of your dreams. While I have been in the field I have notice that the pallet is either hit or miss. I see people swatching it, yet they seem to be second guessing themselves. At first I couldn't really figure out what the disconnect is until I dug a little deeper. I started observing the people actually purchasing the pallet, and those that seemed on the fence. I first thought maybe it was the colors, or maybe it was the price of the pallet. Then it dawned on me, it's both. You see I think people are wanting to explore color more, yet they are scared to splurge on a pallet they aren't sure how to fully use or a pallet they may not love. So that's when it clicked in my head that this whole time, I have been sitting on the perfect dupe right inside my beauty closet. Revolution Beauty Ultra Cool Glow Kit
- First off we have to talk about something very important and that's the price. You see not Every Beauty B can splurge all the time, and sometimes they may want to splurge on something else and find an economic solution for the other item they may want at the same time. That's where this comes into play. The Anastasia Dream Glow pallet costs $45 while the Revolution Beauty only costs $15......plus big bonus if you have the Ulta app and join their rewards club you can get coupons for mass cosmetics! (Ulta, and Ulta.com....prices may vary according to location)
- Now here is something you really need to look at. The Dream Glow Pallet you get six beautiful shades, while with the Ultra Cool Glow Kit you get 8 shades. Now I can't lie I do love having more options to play with these days.
- Both pallets work well for the face and the body. Meaning you can do fun looks for festivals, clubbing, or just an average day because you stand bold and brave and express yourself freely.
- Pigment wise I have the most unusual thing to say. I actually personally meaning this is my opinion, liked the texture of the Ultra Cool Glow Kit way better than the Dream Glow Kit. It was so creamy and you can really build the pigment with it. I have swatches below and this is with my finger and on swipe.
- Great news out there guys! This product is gluten free and cruelty free. I actually went to the website and looked up the product just to verify. Ulta did not list any information about this on their site so I had to do some research.
- Lastly I will say the ingredients in both are not really my favorite. However, I guess I can't have all my products more natural based all the time. If you look closely the ingredients are comparable give a take one or two things. They are all in different orders meaning each product has a different concentration of certain ingredients than others. Not a pallet I would wear everyday, and not a pallet I would fall asleep wearing. This goes for both!

P.S. For products like this I am going against my strong views and say using a setting spray with Alcohol Denant in it is okay for these glittery products. However, don't use a setting spray with that in it all the time.....love your skin and your makeup application will go to the next level!
