A Mass Cosmetics Surprise!
Hey there Beauty B's!
Recently I feel like the mass cosmetics worlds seems to be reading my like a book. They keep creating these pallets that catch my eye yet, so many of them let me down and end of either in the beauty graveyard.....or worse. For me both mass and prestige market brands can have issues like heavy fallout, the pigment isn't worth it, it's too hyped, or sometimes for artistry purpose the ingredients scare me off. Yes. I know not all the good for you brands are packed full of artistry products, so yes I do sometimes stray but I dread it. However something amazing happened. I recently was out in about in the world working and an Ulta had the Milani Gilded Desires Pallet. I was shocked because it was Milani and the Ulta I was in does not carry the line. Once I say the price and say that it actually had a tester I knew something was special about this pallet. Well guys check out my results and maybe you will want a pallet yourself.

Milani Gilded Desires Pallet
- First this is a higher end pallet by Milani guys yet the price is on $19.99. So really it won't break the bank, yet it still is a bit pricier than some people would like to spend.
- I want to celebrate this pallet because it literally can cater to a wide audience. Not going to lie though I feel that the metallic shades are going to look great on tan-warmer skin tones.
- The pigment was amazing when I swatched it. I will say though you need a good primer with this because it loses it's luster without one. (I Recommend PUR Cosmetics Get A Grip, or Shadow Insurance by Too Faced.
- The pallet has 12 shadows and two highlights. The shadows I actually liked a lot, however the highlights I did not. They didn't really apply well to the face and it was kinda flaky looking. (I have combo skin, and my other highlighters never settle like this one did)
- Ingredients wise you aren't getting anything amazing, just typical. I guess I can't always have skin care invested in my artistry makeup.
- I will say it does have a little fall out but for $20 and the quality of pigment I am okay. It wasn't heavy fall out like some.
- Lastly I must say the packaging is pretty slick. I love the fact that it reminds me of a Too Faced cosmetics pallet without the Too Faced price. Plus it has the nice size mirror just like their pallets do.
Gotta fly,
