Set It....Free Of Alcohol

Recently I have been working with clients that need setting sprays that are really great for certain skin conditions. In these conditions sometimes alcohol can really cause sever problems for these people and can make life hard for them. I personally have Psoriasis and I know that if I spray a setting spray with alcohol it tends to cause major issues. I have done a lot of research and found others online complaining of these issues too. I am talking about people with Rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, and acne using setting sprays that sometimes can cause irritation even more so. I have decided to finally break down a few for you that will solve this problem. I personally have stopped using a setting spray with alcohol in it and my skin has never been better. I have more hydration, more glow, and the texture has greatly improved. Check out below and take back control of your skin and put some life back in it.

Alcohol Free Setting Sprays

1.) The first I chose is PUR Cosmetics Miracle Mist. Literally I use this not only to set my makeup but all over my body. It hydrates the skin, and is antibacterial. Also it has citrus in it which actually helps brighten my skin even more so and give it a glow. Great for all skin types. Plant based product line all good for the skin you're in!

2.) Mario Badescu Rose Water- I always recommend this one to my younger clients just starting out. First off some don't want to spend a lot of money on a setting spray, yet they do want to take care of their skin. This one is great as rose is hydrating and great for acne prone skin as rose is anti-bacterial. I like this as a prep spray and a setting spray. 

3.)Smashbox Primer Water- First off you can use this to prep the skin for your flawless makeup application. After applying you can use this to set your makeup. I personally love how hydrating this product is and I love the smell of it. I am so glad Smashbox has a quality spray with out alcohol in it which really makes this a great product for all skin types. 

4.)Cover FX Setting Spray- First off Cover FX is great for sensitive skin. I have literally used this to help cover minor wounds on people and never once have had an issue. I also love this setting spray as they have different variations on this product. There is no Alcohol in the product and your skin will thank you a lot. 

5.) GlamGlow Glow Setter- Here's the deal. GlamGlow is an amazing skin care line. I love their masks so much. Literally when I consistently use their masks I love the skin I am in. Now as for this setting spray it has actual skincare ingredients in it to make the skin have that red carpet ready glow. You will be ready for that step and repeat. It's great for all skin types too. Once again skin is in and this is another great choice.

Now Beauty B's I am not saying that you can't use alcohol on your skin, but personally from my two months of switching to an alcohol free setting spray my skin has changed. Now alcohol is believed to create a film to set the makeup from crinkling throughout the day, but I find that from much research and from what I have learned studying skin it can cause major problems for those pesky skin conditions many face these days. 

Remember love the skin you're in, and that using better ingredients will give you a better makeup application.
