I'm Gel(ing) Are You?

Well if you follow my blog you would have read yesterdays post and known how much pain my face was in. Let's just say the soul (aka moisture) was sucked out like no tomorrow by this product and I needed to bring my face back to life.Well as I was suffering through the day I finally got tired and went to the local drug store to find a moisturizer that was soothing yet wouldn't break the bank. At first I say nothing that spoke to me and so I gave up. However, later I had to go pick up a prescription at another pharmacy and let me tell you I was surprised. I walked around for a minute and really didn't see anything I wanted, and was about to finally just give up. It then dawned on me that they had a K-Beauty section as the mass market has finally gotten on the trend and really gotten the ball rolling on it. As I was scrolling through still nothing was speaking to me and nothing price wise was speaking. That was until the beautiful blue gel in a bottle caught my attention. Right away I was in love because it was a gel and with super dry skin that would be soothing and repairing. Let me introduce you to something you may want to add to your skin care collection as it may come in handy someday for you.

The Saem Iceland Hydrating Soothing Gel

1.) First guys let me say this, for the size of the bottle and the fact that this is all apart of the K-Beauty trend you probably would expect to pay more then $8, right? Well, the bottle was $7.50 (prices may vary) at my local CVS.

2.) This product does not have any of the following in it which is great guys! Propylene Glycol, Dye, Mineral Oil, Silicones, Alcohol, PEG, Triclosan, Sulfates, Formaldehyde, Coal Tar, Formaldehyde-releasers, MIT, Talc, Parabens, TEA, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate

3.)Guys the  texture first off is amazing. It's so lightweight and cooling that I feel relaxed and refreshed after applying it to my clean face. 

4.) A fair warning before I go into ingredients and captivate you but then break your heart. This product does have lactic acid in it. For those not familiar with what lactic acid is here you go: Lactid acid is a form of AHA (alpha hydroxy acid)  which help minimize the apearence of aging, hyperpigmentation, and dry patches on the skin. Lactic acid can cause mild skin irritation but sometimes the results are worth it. Please keep this in mind if your skin is very sensitive. 

5.) Lastly I will highlight a few pieces of ingredients that popped out me to: 

Lactic Acid - Helps reduce the appearance of acne, fine lines, and wrinkles

Citric Acid - great for acne, clogged pores, wrinkles, and dark spots.Great for promoting skin peeling and growth of new skin.

Glycerin- Locks in the moisture to your skin keeping you nice and firm and hydrated. Seals that moisture in for you!

And 98% mineral water from Iceland. Talk about hydrating and refreshing!

Well Beauty B's gotta go steam my face and hydrate........I'm telling you this deep cleaning is the most dramatic ever I am scared.
