Bake Your Feet!
Hey there my Beauty B's!
Are you ready to bake your feet? No, not literally but with this everyday product you bake with you can also use on your feet as a treat. Seriously below I am going to highlight a product that many of us have in our cabinets. Even better news is that if you don't you can literally run to the store and buy this for less than $2 and that's for the biggest size. Have you figured out what we are discussing today? You guessed it Baking Soda Foot Soak.

Baking Soda Foot Soak
Well I thought we would first start with what I put into my foot soak when I occasionally do this. Here is my suggestion below....you may adjust accordingly to your own needs and preferences. That's the great thing about beauty you can play around to get the right fit for you. I start with 2-3 tables spoons of Baking Soda. I then add that to warm water that I can comfortably soak my feet in for 20 minutes. Notice that I said warm water that I can COMFORTABLY SOAK IN....meaning not scalding hot as that is bad for your skin. On top of that I add to the water and baking soda some essential oils. For feet I recommend peppermint, eucalyptus, or lavender. You do not have to add these oils but personally I have seen great benefits from using them. After you have finished soaking I normally put on a foot cream or salve, and then a pair of sock to lock in the moisture and really allow my feet time to absorb the good hydration. I of course like to do this more toward the end of the night as I can let the lotion absorb for a while and then when ready for bed socks off. You may laugh but I actually like to use hospital socks for this. I just love those horrible things.....wish they had cuter designs for me to rock on the norm.
Why Baking Soda you ask?
Well, why not? Think about it, it's cheap and not really harsh for your feet. On top of that for the everyday Beauty B, do you often have enough time to take out of your day to go to the nail salon for a full blown pedicure. Or for the everyday Beauty B that's a dude you may be intimated by the nail salon or don't want to be caught in a nail salon. Totally cool guys, but you need to keep your feet neat for your special person in your life too. Did I mention that baking soda not only exfoliates your feet, but can help with athlete's foot, and odor. Great for those that are active which we all should be more so these days. Finally what about warm weather? Don't your feet deserve to be shown off and in comfortable cool shoes? Make your feet happy feet and try this beauty tip and trick out at home. Pour yourself some wine, or whatever your poison may be and pop on some TV (Maybe Real Housewives), then soak up the benefits of this amazing household everyday product.
Gotta Go Beauty B's.....I am on a search for a Hamburger and beer tonight all for myself. I deserve it.
