Just Fan Yourself!
Hey my Beauty B's!
Guy's this is a great day for me and soon I will share my exciting news with you all. First off I want you to fan yourself. No, no not cool off but fan yourself with a makeup brush. Let me just say this, a lot of brands finally just now started pushing out fan brushes on the market. However for some people they are lost as to what these brushes are or what they can really be used for. Sure, for some of us that have been in the beauty industry it's just another tool we probably use daily, but for others they may feel lost. So I decided to go on a hunt for fan brush that won't break the bank for those just getting into them. On top of that I wanted to give you the tips and tricks that fan brushes can be used for. Check out my tips and after you will find my two picks this week for fan brushes that won't break the bank. Don't worry I have more coming soon that are what I call investment pieces.
1.) Did you know that you can use a fan brush to clean up fallout from eyeshadow? Okay hopefully you know what fallout is, but if not I'll break it down. Fallout happens when you maybe have too much eye shadow on the brush and when applying in falls beneath you eye, or it could happen when you are apply shadow along the lash line. Don't wipe it and make a mess, just lightly brush it away with a fan brush. Do not apply too much pressure as you will apply the product to the face. Just sweep it away like crumbs on the floor.
2.) Would you maybe like a softer, more natural contour? A fan brush with it's design especially the two I have chosen at the end of this post are designed perfectly to give you a soft natural contour. Now you can build up with it if you want but I find it always works perfectly for my people that want a contour but don't want the extra drama.
3.) I know that you are familiar with highlighting with a fan brush. Then brush literally hits the area of light which is where you want to highlight perfectly. I even got brave and used a purple highlight mixed with gold today and the light literally went crazy sexy on me. I am talking it gave the right amount of product with only one deposit of the brush.
4.) Is a blush brush annoying or too bulky for you? A fan brush can give a nice soft natural blush application for you. Instead of those bulky blush brushes that often times make people put on too much blush and well it can be overwhelming. The fan brush is soft and subtle. Great for you natural beauties with a little enhancement out there.
5.) Seriously the fan brush is so handy for powder foundation. Literally after I apply my liquid foundation I use a fan brush sometimes for a soft powder foundation application on top to give more coverage. It doesn't pick up too much product which means you won't look cakey. Girl. no one wants cake on their face, even at a wedding. LOL!
6.) Okay finally you're new secret weapon to kill your shine, and no I am not talking about your personality shine. Let's talk oil and the T-zone. Guy's it happens often you look flawless for hours and boom you get a little shiny. Well, a fan brush and some translucent powder (check out my post Smooth Operator) and you will be fixed. Seriously it hits the T-zone perfectly leaving you shine free and ready to let your personality shine, not your T-Zone.
7.) If you ever have an extra fan brush.......you can have that one designated if you want to apply mascara to you lashes. It gives this super natural look, I am talking like no makeup, makeup look.
Below I picked two fan brushes that won't break the bank, I am talking $3 at Walgreens. I do not ever suggest a product that I haven't played with so these are actual brushes I have used and had good experiences with. I also wanted to help people who are new to fan brushes and not break their bank. Give it a shot! Prices may vary by Location! I chose a Wet 'n' Wild brush as it cruelty free and the Walgreen's brush was not tested on animals!
Remember You all light up my life!
