First I Was Afraid.......

We all are familiar with one of my favorite ladies singing a song with the lyrics first I was afraid, I was petrified, well those words registered to me recently about a makeup brush I have been putting off trying. Let me say this, I should not have waited so long and neither should you. You see with a company I previously worked for the Beauty Blender was a hot ticket item for us to use everyday. First they are fast and quick to clean, second we were able to produce and keep our chairs turning and generate our numbers for quick make overs, and third they give an amazing airbrush look. Let me say this I have been using the Beauty Blender since it first came out and I started to shy away from complexion brushes. Even on clients I always seemed to stick with what I knew. However, recently this all changed with a brush that gives me the effect I want and literally works well with thicker full coverage foundations. Pur Cosmetics Skin Perfecting Foundation Brush and Concealer Brush
1.) First off the brush is Cruelty free which is very important these days. They are made of synthetic bristles which is great because your makeup won't get trapped into the brush actually depositing color to your face.
2.) The handle is really well designed actually. The foundation brush has a larger handle and fits perfectly in my hand and I have large hands. Literally everyone I have shown this brush to it just seems to work well in all hands. The concealer brush is smaller and perfect for under the eye area. I also to a highlight with the concealer brush which gave me beautiful results.
3.) Guys you will get an airbrush quality finish with these brushes without the annoyance of an airbrush machine.
4.) These brushes work well with powder, cream, and liquid products. I will say this it's amazing for thicker fuller coverage foundations as it gets the job done without a heavy makeup look. You get all the coverage you want without the cake face!
5.) Lastly these brushes are amazing because of the quality and the price point. There is a brand that makes brushes like these that retail for $50 and up for just one brush. These are just as great and cost $28 for the foundation brush and $22 for the concealer brush. Yes, just like your skin care invest in your tools also.
*Fair warning I recommend cleaning the brush after each use with IT Cosmetics Brush Bath (Ulta) especially after using thicker fuller coverage foundations. Also when using the brush support the neck like you would a baby, think of these as your baby. *
