Covergirl Put The Bass In Your Walk!
Hey Beauty B's!
So I hope many of you got the title right away, and if you read my blog I hinted that this was coming. I have to say today I tried the Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixr by itself and I have to say it's selfie worthy......if you can find your shade. The shade I got is a little lighter than what I normally go for but I actually liked the shade and how it looked on my. Now I have to say this, Covergirl can Coverboy. Check out below why I like this foundation and why I think you should give it a try. By the way today it Put The Bass In My Walk!
Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixr:
1.) First off the shade range is decent. Notice I said decent. It's not there yet but hey the product is new and if it does well they will most likely expand the shade range. With that being said the amount there is adequate for a new product. I will say I still hate even though I play in makeup a lot going into drugstores and not being able to test a shade first to see if I like it. Plus you can tell which ones have already been tested in the store illegally which I will not buy those.
2.) It's a full coverage makeup! However I suggest you use a Beauty Blender to apply the product. Start in the center of the face where you normally need the most coverage and work your way out. A little bit goes a long ways I found. Literally I was amazed at even though it's full coverage I was able to work with the Beauty Blender and it look smooth and natural. I seriously loved how my skin looked!
3.) Oil Free which is really great.
4.) The product does have SPF 20 in it. Kinda a great for being outside foundation and taking pictures without a flash!
5.) Has Vitamins E, B3, B5 .
Vitamin E- Helps fight off free radicals and has anti-oxidant properties. Think wrinkle preventive measure.
Vitamin B3- this is know to help with acne, even out the skin tone, prevent wrinkles, and help with hyperpigmentation. Think of it as a JACK OF ALL TRADES
Also in the product I will warn you these I don't really love but they pop up in things I like from time to time.....are Talc, and Dimethicone. I know that dimethcone gives you this silk smooth canvas but it also traps bacteria and oil in the skin. And Talc I won't discuss at this moment.
6.) Lastly the price being $10 was a bargain. I was able to get this at Walmart and you can also find at Target, Amazon, CVS, Walgreens, and some grocery stores.
Check it out I don't think you will be disappointed!

| For my look I used just these three simple products. Healthy Elixr Foundation in shade 755, Urban Decay eyeshadow on lid only in color Riff, and I used the Beauty Blender Pro to apply my foundation. |
