What Doesn't Kill You Makes You STRONGER!

So I decided to go through my nail polish box and totally forgot that I had this sick polish by Deborah Lippman. I like her brand because it has fun colors and glitter of course, yet they have functional ingredients infused in them. So while you are giving your nails some color, you are also taking care of them as well. Big bonus that you can get products from this line that are formulated without Parabens and Sulfates, also they have no formaldehyde (Did you know that this is a carcinogenic ingredient (meaning it can cause cancer), or that heavy exposure can cause Leukemia. For my health personally I focus on products that don't fully have this infused into them, formaldehyde resin (sometimes can cause dermatitis and also it sometimes has residual matter of formaldehyde in it) , toulene (being in an area where there are high levels of toulene is very dangerous, it's almost like huffing glue or paint in which case can cause brain damage, DEPRESSION, and in serious cases of exposure death), camphor (know for causing infections in the nails....has medicinal properties but don't use on your nails), and dibutyl phthlate (this actually is something I would suggest you avoid if pregnant or trying to get pregnant as it can cause mutation, issues with sperm count for men who like polish, developmental issues, and genetic mutations). I wanted to break down those ingredients that this brand is FREE OF so you know what to be on the look out for in other brands of polish you use. Also they are on board with the NO ANIMAL TESTING TREND! The other great thing is you can get these at Sephora and play with them before you buy. That's the great thing about Sephora you can test something before you buy it and if you don't like it they have the best return exchange policy out there.

Biotin- Know to actually help strengthen your nails. Goodbye brittle nails!
Green Tea Extract- Great for people whose nails break easy. Also great for strengthening those brittle nails you have.
