I Wanna See Your Peacock....FLARE
Hey Beauty B's!
So I am infamous for saying jokingly to many of my friends that Covergirl, doesn't just cover girl. However, I have to be a shady queen in a jumpsuit and say I am not impressed with the new Peacock Flare Mascara. On top of that, they missed a huge marketing opportunity with featuring Katy Perry for that particular mascara. If you don't get that you aren't very verse on your pop culture. Okay so here is what Covergirl says this mascara is suppose to do........
1.) It is stated this is suppose to be a triple threat sort of speak mascara...meaning it's suppose to give Volume, Length, and Thickening.....sorry not very many companies have SUCCESSFULLY done that....CONGRATS BENEFIT COSMETICS FOR SLAYING IT THERE.
2.) The wand design I actually do like because guess what.....it didn't clump when I did my normal application. Now when I apply mascara I start at the very end of my lashes close to my orbital area and bump and wiggle out as my Senior Artists taught me when I worked at Sephora on 34th ST.
3.) The shade range of black I love. Not everyone wants drama drag queen giving me life black and they were smart with doing variations.
4.) It truly does separate out my lashes when I applied but honestly that's all I really got.
5.) I am not even going to list the ingredients but they are not too horrible but I still wasn't fully excited.
So in all honestly a lot of the reviews I have seen are mixed, but honestly I have never had a single mascara by Covergirl that has been kept in my actual staple of mascaras I use on myself. Now do I put this in my Beauty Graveyard or put it in my play makeup?
Gotta go plan a special tattoo,
