I Got The Eye Of The Tiger....MASK...ROAR!
Hey Beauty B's!
It's Superbowl Sunday and I still feel inspired by Katy Perry! Her show still speaks to me to this day and makes me smile. So as I was trying to pay ode to the Superbowl and since I'm not really a sports fan, I thought pay homage to the halftime show. So I pulled out of my mask box a tiger sheet face mask and felt inspired. A lot of you are probably at the game which I am sure is super exciting, and a lot of you are at home or at a bar having lots of yummy food and drinks. Well, it's fun to have fun but you will pay the price with your skin. Those of you out in the cold are losing the moisture and life to your skin, on top of that traveling in those airplanes can cause a lot of issues for your skin. Not so fast those of you at home, you're most like having some beverages that are going to dehydrate your skin which means if you don't treat it tonight before going to bed your skin won't be giving the world life tomorrow. So I present to to you an economic solution by Look Beauty, the Tiger Sheet Moisturizing mask. Below I break down a few ingredients that caught my eye and why this mask can save you after a fun night check it out! P.S. this mask is less than $5 at Target so it won't break the bank!
Pretty Animalz by Look Beauty Tiger Moisturizing Sheet Mask:
1.) Glycerin- Guys I am going to drill this into you....glycerin locks in moisture to the skin so it should always probably be in the top few ingredients in products that are labeled moisturizing. Remember you want to create that moisture barrier to keep your skin nice and plump and hydrated.
2.) Soybean Extract- Great anti-aging benefits. Also just all together great for hydrating the skin and pluming it up. Also will help soften your skin and big bonus it absorbs well into your skin! This is a great extract to have in your anti-aging and hydrating products.
3.)Mushroom Extract- Great for helping discoloration on the skin. Also for skin concerns such as Rosacea, Acne, and Eczema because it is a natural anti-inflammatory product. Also can help with texture skin and tone the skin. Big bonus.....it can help tighten your pores.
4.)Witch Hazel -Helps remove excess oil from your skin. This ingredient is also great because it's not a harsh chemical and should not irritate the skin. It also helps with acne, inflammation of the skin, and can help combat the appearance of irritated skin. Great for dark spots and helping minimize the appearance of those testy pores.
5.) Castor Oil- Great product for penetrating the skin and giving it hydration! Great for helping remove those dry patches you may have. Great for making the skin smoother and softer. I don't know about you but I want a smooth soft face make it better for makeup application.
6.) Dioscorea Japonica Root Extract- I got excited about this but in plain terms it's a East Asian Mountain Yam! This is an anti-aging ingredient which means when consistently used in a product it can help with fine lines and wrinkles. Also a huge bonus it can help with hyperpigmentation. Great for helping the skin look more radiant and putting moisture and life back into your skin. Don't worry this product is very gentle for those of you with sensitive and irritated skin. P.S. great tool for inflammation.
Overall I love the mask but I think they should market it as an anti-inflammatory and moisturizing mask as it does both of these things well. Literally if your skin needs a boost give this a try!
Gotta go research a few more products for this week!
