Strobe To Glow For Days!
Hey Beauty B's!
It's Christmas Eve and some of us are still not ready. Need a great Idea for last minute gift that won't break the bank. I have the perfect idea for the Beauty B on your list that won't break the bank. I am talking a sick Strobe & Glow pallet by Profusion for less than $10. I know what you are thinking there is no way that price can be right.....well it is guys. Here's why I love it and why it's the perfect gift this holiday season.
1.) The price for this kit and the amount of colors you get in the pallet is an amazing price. I will say there are so other highlight pallets I am eyeing after the holidays that have caught my eyes with less colors for almost 4x the amount that I purchased this pallet for. Also the variation of colors allows you to adjust from your going to the office and wanting to serve the people a little glow, to going out and stealing the spotlight from others with a dramatic effervescent glow.
2.) Look, how many people out there ask everyday......how do I highlight, or how do I highlight and not make it too intense, or look like I rolled around in glitter (not going to lie, I love glitter). Well the handy thing is other than youtube videos which sometimes are great but overdone, that on the back of this pallet they literally break down the areas to really focus on utilizing the product. Pretty handy for the Beauty B just starting out.
3.) The top ingredient is Mica, which I kinda after doing some research have a semi love hate relationship with it. Mica is great for products like highlighters and eye shadows because it actually creates shine and color. Clearly something you would most likely want in those two products, and especially highlighting. Now there are some warnings out there that mica is not good to inhale so personally it makes me more cautious around applying it in the nostril regions.
4.) The brush is an added bonus for those out there that are just starting out and haven't yet grown attached to a specific highlighting brush.
5.) Cruelty Free, major trend these days in the beauty industry all across the board. The people have spoken and the industry is truly listening to them.
6.) The pigment is decent, however personally I did not like the smell of the product when I held the pallet closer to my face. It made me a little nervous about actually applying, but I took the risk. I will say the brush picked up a lot of product in which I had to soften with a Beauty Blender. Honestly it's great for starting out......I will be using this for days not really going to work or doing anything major, but that's just me. I am very particular about my highlighters.
So guys time's a ticking for this last minute gift idea. I actually was able to stock up at Target on this pallet and they were running a great special. Alright you last minute shoppers, you better hurry, hurry, hurry.
Gotta Scurry,
