Let's EOS Our Way Into The New Year!

So guys here's the deal, it's the day after Christmas (for those that celebrate the day) and guess what, things go on sale. Yep, you guessed it.....stores are moving their inventory making room for the next batch of spring products! An EVERYTHING MUST GO frenzy occurs! Well, I guess you can say that I got caught in the frenzy myself today. An EOS gift set caught my eye. One that I have not really played with before. Vanilla Orchid ( Body Lotion, and Hand Lotion, with Vanilla Mint Lip Balm), totally caught me with the Vanilla, also was excited to see they fixed their packaging on their lotion. I was complaining about this issue month ago about their lotion. Added bonus the blue and white stripes on the lip balm really caught my eye and made me excited and had to have it. Plus this one I have never seen before and for some reason what really caught my attention was the EXTRA DRY SKIN written on the product! Hello?.......perfect for this winter. Don't know about you but my goodness has it been DRY!
Here's the lowdown guys!
The Vanilla Orchid Body Lotion when you actually look at the ingredients on the product I am shocked at the quality. Right away after doing some digging, you see Glyceryl Stearate as the second ingredient which I didn't know that this product actually helps slow down the loss of moisture! That's what I am talking about, keep us locked and loaded with hydration! Moving down the list you find:
Sunflower seed oil- great for tightening and firming up your skin, keep it right and tight guys!
Cocoa Butter-amazing for keeping your skin young looking and of course great for inflammation!
Aloe Leaf-Great for keep the moisture into your skin, great for soothing irritated skin, perfect for skin issues which seem to be appearing in large masses these days of psoriasis, and eczema. Packed full of anti-oxidants!
Soybean oil-it is believed that this slows down the aging process......not fully sold on that yet. Firms up your skin!! We want that guys!
Avocado Oil- Great for hydration and softening, think about it guys we do Avocado Facemasks!
The only one Ingredient I am struggling with these days guys is this one:
Dimethicone- this is used in a lot of beauty products today. However, dimethicone has trapping properties....meaning we aren't getting out the toxins in our body through sweat....and the other issue is that this trapping is keep bacteria, toxins, oils, and random everyday impurities in your body. I can't like it's hard for me to not buy products that tend to have this but, I want them to be further down on the list. Also I am now avoiding trying to use this on the face because........think about it guys trapping does what? Yep, you guessed right... causes breakouts! Good news is it's far enough on the list that I feel okay using it on my body......don't use body lotion on your face.
The product does go on well, and my skin did feel soft but not as soft as I would like. So the body lotion only gets a so so from me. I will say this.....the smell is AMAZING.......like it's sexy enough to attract a the right one without scaring them off....lol!
