Give Me Highlight And Contour.....And Give It To Me For Less!

Hey Beauty B's!

So we all know the trend of highlight and contour. You would have to have been living under a rock not to know this trend. While some of us can spend and spend and spend on pallets and individual highlighters and different variations of contours (Bronzers, eye shadows, refills, creams, foundations, etc) some people want to have a pallet but not really spend too much as they may not have fully mastered the art of highlight and contour. I know what you are thinking.....there are a million videos out there about how to do this, however it's a different experience when you actually have a person there giving you one on one attention. The other problem is, many people find it too hard or too complicated of the look is too much for them. Well I have definitely helped and educated a lot of my clients on the art of natural highlight and contour. Of course I have shown them how to build up the intensity until they achieve the actual look they want.

Okay, enough about that Beauty B's. The holidays are coming and on every young girls want list I am sure is a contour pallet. So wait why am I going to spend all this money on a pallet the person may never use but once. Well here is a simple solution. The NYX Contour Pallet is your simple solution. You literally can get this product anywhere NYX products are sold: Target, Ulta, Dillards, NYX.com. So here is the deal with the pallet:

So to begin the Pallet has four highlight shades starting at the top. (Ice Queen, Soft Light, Cream,
 Nectar)

Then we move to the bottom row of your contours. ( Tan,Toffee,Sculpt,Hollow)

One great thing is the shade range. You can really find your color minus complexions to the far dark spectrum they haven't fully catered to that demographic yet.

The other good news is that the highlights and contours are replaceable. So you can buy the refills for them. That's handy because you can customize your pallet as you go or get rid of colors you don't want to utilize. This is great for someone starting out to the pro out there. One negative review though. The first time I used it and I am medium skin tone not too light or dark the product was chalky on my skin. I did reach out to a pro artist I know and asked him some feed back, I also received feedback from one of my followers on instagram who is a pro artist himself. They both said on lighter skin tones the pallet works great. However on darker skin tones it does sometimes tend to look chalky. I did try it again guys and if a darker skin tone you do have to play around with it. I found using my beauty blender with Dior concealer first then the highlight powder on top and the stipple the powder into the concealer with the beauty blender gave me a great result. Also you will need to do the same with your contour. I used a cream concealer darker than my complexion by two shades and got a flawless contour repeating the steps I did for my highlight. Try it out Beauty B's. It's an amazing gift for less than $25!
