Gimme Some Sugar.......Yep Your Secret Weapon For Lips

Hey Beauty B's,

Guys I don't know about you but I am currently crashing with my parents while I decide where I want to finally pick to have my own personal living space of course with GLAM ROOM to video blog, and do demos. So anyways, living with older people can be a challenge as they love to have the heaters on full blast because they are cold. Guys I tell you the last few days between the cold air outside, my crazy sleep pattern, and the heaters my lips have taken a beating. It seems I am not the only one as I have had a few clients contact me for advice. Finally, I dug out my old holy grail of beauty and found a few secrets I researched many years ago when  living in New York City. The answer is simple.......SUGAR. Yep, that's right guys sugar. Go to the kitchen grab 2 tea spoons of sugar, a bowl, and a little honey. Mix honey and sugar together to form a paste like scrub. Gently massage over your lips and keep applying a little more product as needed massage for a few minutes very gently. Remove with warm water guys! Finally see how much smoother your lips feel and how they feel softer and not as dry. Give it a try Beauty B's. A simple fix that won't break the bank, and hey who doesn't have a jar of sugar in their kitchen?

Just to let you Beauty B's know sugar is great to naturally exfoliate you lips while mixing it with the honey help your lips retain their moisture as its a natural humectant.  Also honey will help with the inflammation and great news with those cracked lips you want something to kill the bacteria and that's where honey literally saves you. And just in case you wanted to know what that unfamiliar term is.......a substance, especially a skin lotion or a food additive, used to reduce the loss of moisture. My suggestion also is to do this 2-3 times a week. You need to decide what you actually need because it will vary person to person. ALSO DRINK LOT'S OF WATER.......LESSON I AM LEARNING NOW.

Here's the recipe I used below:

Natural Honey (Whole Foods is where I got mine)
2 teaspoons of Brown Sugar

(Pour honey first then mix in the sugar to form a thick paste guys)

So go ahead Beauty B's....POUR SOME SUGAR ON ME!

Gotta go I'm hot sticky and sweet......
I did the steps backwards for the photo.....I did the sugar first, really it doesn't matter.
